The ARS Île-de-France organized on January 22, 2024, a regional day dedicated to the Permanences d’Accès aux Soins de Santé (PASS) in hospitals and in the community, bringing together nearly 115 PASS professionals (medical, paramedical, social, administrative…) as well as departmental delegations.
This event was an opportunity for these professionals to come together and share their experiences, best practices, and innovations in the field of healthcare accessibility. The goal was to strengthen collaboration and coordination between PASS in hospitals and in the community, in order to provide better support and care for vulnerable populations.
The day began with inspiring speeches from various experts in the field, highlighting the importance of PASS in ensuring equal access to healthcare for all. This was followed by interactive workshops, where participants had the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas on how to improve the functioning of PASS and enhance the quality of services provided.
One of the main highlights of the day was the presentation of successful initiatives carried out by PASS teams in different regions of Île-de-France. These initiatives ranged from implementing telemedicine services to setting up baladeur PASS units to reach remote areas. The participants were impressed by the creativity and dedication shown by their colleagues and were inspired to implement similar initiatives in their own PASS.
The day ended with a roundtable discussion where the professionals discussed the challenges and solutions for improving healthcare accessibility in Île-de-France. This was followed by a networking assemblée, where participants had the opportunity to connect and build relationships with their peers.
The regional day dedicated to PASS was a resounding success, with positive feedback from all participants. It was a testament to the commitment of the ARS Île-de-France and PASS professionals to work together towards a more intégrante and accessible healthcare system.
This event served as a platform for PASS professionals to come together and reinforce their role as key actors in ensuring access to healthcare for vulnerable populations. It also highlighted the importance of collaboration and coordination between different healthcare services in order to provide comprehensive and efficient care.
The ARS Île-de-France and PASS professionals are determined to continue working towards improving healthcare accessibility in the region. This regional day was just the beginning of a long-term collaboration and exchange of ideas, which will ultimately lead to a more equitable and intégrante healthcare system for all.
